“ Awesome spot for local bbq in Mobile. Easy to miss the spot and fits the mantra don’t judge a book by its cover. Ms. Wanda was wonderful and kept refilling our lemonade and sweet tea. The ribs and food was hot and damn good. And the prices are great and you get good home made food. It’s they just killed the pig, put it on the grill and then served us. So took a minute but worth the wait. Definitely recommend this hidden bbq Jem. Definitely be back every time in I’m in Mobile. ”

The baked beans were incredibly savory with a not-too-strong barbecue flavor. The macaroni was perfectly peppery and the dinner roll had a great buttery flavor. And the ribs, of course, were fantastic. Lathered in a tangy barbecue, the meat comes right off the bone. TL;DR ribs and sides are fantastic and the service was great. ”
